Meguiar Launches DDR5 Memory for Data Centers

Recently, Meguiar announced the release of DDR5 memory for data centers, which has released EPYC for the new AMD ™ The 9004 series CPU has been validated. As modern servers install more solutions in CPUs, the storage bandwidth per CPU core has been declining. Compared to previous generations, Meguiar DDR5 brings higher bandwidth, reducing bottlenecks, and improving stability and scalability.

It is understood that Meguiar will configure its DDR5 with a separate fourth generation AMD STREAM standard performance, EPYCPU system, and 3200MT/s AMD EPYCPU system to compare with Meguiar DDR4. Using the fourth generation AMD EPYCPU system, Meguiar achieved a peak memory bandwidth of 378 GB/s per slot, compared to 189 GB/s for the third generation AMD EPYCPU system. This has tripled the system memory bandwidth.

Meguiar collaborated with AMD to evaluate and select Meguiar DDR4, the third generation AMD, and EPYCCPU, as well as three HPC workloads (OpenFOAM, WRF, and CP2K) on Meguiar DDR5, the fourth generation AMD, and EPYCCPU. The 4th generation AMD EPYCPU platform is equipped with Meguiar DDR5, which increases computational fluid dynamics (OpenFOAM) performance by 2.4 times, and molecular dynamics (CP2) for weather forecasting (WRF) by 2.1 times K) by 2.03 times.
