Is silver gold gold and silver platinum? Of course not, it's tin. Silver plate is called spray tin plate. Spraying a layer of tin on the surface of copper wire is also beneficial for welding. But it cannot provide long-lasting touch stability like gold. The spray tin plate has no effect on the welding components, but for the welding layer that has been exposed to air for a long time, its stability is not enough, such as the grounding welding layer, spring pin socket, etc. Long term use can easily oxidize and rust, leading to poor contact. Light red OSP, organic soldering film. Because it is an organic substance, not a metal, it is cheaper than the tin spraying process. The only function of this organic film is to ensure that the inner copper is not oxidized before welding. When welding, once heated, the film will evaporate. Soldering can weld copper wires and components together. But it is not corrosion-resistant. An OSP circuit board cannot be soldered after being exposed to air for ten days. There are many computer motherboards that choose OSP technology. Due to the large area of the circuit board, it cannot be gilded.
